Role at Cawthron
Mark has worked at Cawthron since 1997 and took on the role of Team Leader in January 2016, having gained extensive experience in the Microbiology laboratory. He is responsible for the day-to-day running of the laboratory and is a key point of contact for all customers who rely on our test results to clear product for export or food safety requirements.

Development of automated reporting initiatives
Onsite sampler trainer for both water and hygiene sampling in food manufacturing sites
Ministry of Primary Industries Laboratory Approval Scheme (LAS) signatory
International Accreditation New Zealand (IANZ) Key Technical Personnel (KTP) status for microbiology and pathogen testing
